Erez Dayan: “The effectiveness of using personalized, awareness-raising questions and answers as a tool for behavioral change in habits with addictive elements is supported by solid research evidence. It shows significant benefits in enhancing motivation, identifying triggers, and changing limiting beliefs.”
The startup company “Health Seal” has launched an innovative interactive tool designed to help individuals change harmful habits and overcome behavioural addictions such as overeating, smoking, internet addiction, workaholism, shopping addiction, and gambling. The online platform includes over 600,000 guiding questions, answers and tasks, operated with the assistance of an AI agent. The tool helps create awareness and motivation among users to engage in their recovery process and perform self-behavioural changes.
This innovative tool, developed over five years guides users through a unique, personalized experience that promotes long-term habit change via an internal transformation. Awareness is raised through an interactive question generator that adapts itself to the user’s answers and creates tasks accordingly. The system builds a personal connection and deep familiarity with the user. All responses are reviewed by a professional team to tailor the next steps accordingly. The technology, questions, and responses were developed by dozens of experts from various methodologies.
The initiative was founded by insurance entrepreneur Erez Dayan, founder and CEO of Policy Check, which operates in the life insurance sector. “Health Seal” program includes companies that want their clients to be healthier-such as insurance companies and healthcare providers-who, upon their clients’ success, will be able to offer up to 50% cost reductions on products and increase profitability.
The company has already conducted several successful pilots programs, including one in collaboration with “Diet Club firm” and is currently in negotiations with healthcare and insurance organizations.
Erez Dayan, founder of “Health Seal”: “The effectiveness of using guided, awareness-raising questions tailored to the individual as a tool for changing behaviours of habits with addictive elements is backed by strong research, with clear advantages in developing motivation, identifying triggers, and shifting limiting beliefs. The breakthrough is by identifying the ‘missing link’ that ensures success by fostering persistence in breaking addictions through changed thought patterns. Recent studies show that combining methods increases the chances of success, especially in complex addictions like gambling and pornography.”
“After over three decades in the Israeli insurance industry, I realized that insurance companies are significantly neglecting their clients’ health and are overwhelmed by a “sea” of claims. They have the data about their clients’ health but aren’t using it to make meaningful changes. I was surprised to see that even healthcare providers are struggling, despite their efforts, and are incurring deficits of billions of shekels. Employers are beginning to understand that they must act to improve employee health.”
The initiative is designed to provide real, long-term recovery from addictions or harmful habits, leading to improved health outcomes, and therefore may help reduce the number off claims for insurance companies and healthcare providers. At Health Seal we are dedicated to helping people overcome addictions so they can lead happier and healthier lives..”
Dayan adds: “The system, intended for users aged 18 and up, is based on an engaging question generator that adapts to the user’s responses and creates customized tasks. In the next phase, the user experience will be upgraded to an interactive computer game with an intelligent bot. We’ve developed more than 100,000 unique questions and answers for each process, with advanced algorithms that will soon be integrated with the help of
