The Insurtech start-up Five Sigma, which has developed a claims management platform based on unique data modeling technology, today announces four significant additions to its leadership team: Dana Poleg, Chief Marketing Officer, Amalia Landau, VP of Human Resources, Shani Gal, VP of Product, and Ofer Milavsky, Chief Operating Officer. All four new executives bring with them major achievements and extensive experience in global technology companies.
Dana Poleg, Five Sigma’s newly appointed CMO, has an impressive track record of over 15 years in marketing management positions for leading high-tech companies in the US and Israel, including NICE, where she served as Head of Global Demand Generation, and Kaltura, where she served as VP of Marketing and Business Operations. Poleg’s rich experience in global marketing strategy, increasing brand awareness, and creating go-to-market strategies will enable Five Sigma to accelerate the significant growth it has recorded in recent months, and expand its presence in the insurance and financial industries.
Amalia Landau brings over a decade of experience in human resource management positions in technology companies in the fields of finance and insurance, including PayKey and EasySend. Amalia will lead, among other things, strategic recruitment practices to ensure high-quality hires for the company’s accelerated growth.
Shani Gal, Five Sigma’s incoming VP of Product, served in her most recent role as Product Director at Snyk where she was part of the company’s hyper growth which today is worth $8.5 billion. Shani has over 15 years experience in a variety of product management and software development roles. She is a graduate of 8200 and the Prime Minister’s Office, where she led groundbreaking and strategic projects – one of which won the Israel Defense Forces Award. In her new role, Shani will focus on building world-leading cloud-native claims management systems.
Ofer Milavski, COO, is an experienced global technology and innovation leader. In his most recent role, which he held for more than a decade, he served as the COO at SAP Israel. In his new role, Ofer will build the entire delivery and support operations for the company’s customers.
The technology developed by Five Sigma offers a cloud-based, data-driven solution to the world of insurance claims and addresses all aspects of claims management, both operationally and strategically. This includes management of the claim process from A-to-Z, insurance coverage, liability, payments, rehabilitation and quality claims handling. The claims management solution enables full automation of administrative tasks, multi-channel communication within the system, integration with core systems, extremely fast deployment and more. All this with the aim of improving the accuracy of claims processing, optimizing the customer experience, and ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
In recent months, Five Sigma has announced a $12 million round of funding from leading funds such as 83North and existing investors including: F2 Venture Capital and Pipeline Capital, bringing the company’s total funding to over $20 million.
