Next Insurance, which develops and manages a digital platform for small and medium-sized business insurance in the United States, is recruiting developers. Among the open positions for men and women at the development center in Israel are developers in Backend, Frontend, Data, and Security. In addition, the company is recruiting employees for a wide range of roles in offices in Palo Alto, Boston, and Rochester (New York).
The Insurtech company Next Insurance was founded in 2016 by Guy Goldstein, who serves as CEO of the company, Alon Huri, and Nissim Tapiro, CTO, and has raised over $1.1 billion in global insurance grants and investment funds since its inception. The latest funding round of $265 million was completed at the end of 2023. The company serves over 500,000 customers in 1,300 different types of small and medium-sized businesses in the United States, insuring their business activities against a wide range of risks, including damages and disasters, liability and commercial property, life insurance for company executives, and human resources. The company has achieved annual growth of tens of percent in premium volumes thanks to a series of collaborations with insurance companies and agencies.
Next Insurance currently employs 700 people, including about 190 at the development center in Kfar Saba, where most of the platform development is done, which is the basis for the company’s growth. The company’s algorithm allows for the matching of the right insurance to each business within minutes, saving on separate insurance expenses, and, conversely, missing insurances that could be critical in times of need. This is a complex field that requires extensive expertise due to the varying levels of risk between different types of businesses and states in the United States.
