34 Startups Register For Ayalon-insurtech Israel Accelerator

The insurtech accelerator set up by Ayalon, InsurTech Israel and BrokerTech Ventures reports the end of the first stage and registration of 34 start-ups, of which only five will be able to take part in the first session, which is due to commence in April of this year.

The selection will be carried out by leading Israeli and international experts in the business environment of the world of insurance, technology and investments, who will also be acting as mentors to the entrepreneurs and will assist them in presenting business propositions to investors and insurance companies in Israel and abroad. The initial investment in the chosen startups will be between 150 thousand and half a million shekels.

At the same time and before the end of the registration process, the Hebrew University and the Alifim and Timkotzki insurance agencies announced their coming on board as sponsors and partners in the accelerator and their senior staff will be accompanying the chosen ventures, alongside senior executives from Ayalon and insurance, finance and technological giants, including Sompo, Deloitte, Milliman, Sapiens and Dell.

“We are pleased and proud to announce that the Hebrew University Gershon Fintech Center is joining as a professional partner in the Israeli insurtech accelerator and will be assisting in the planning of lectures and content focused for the startups selected for the program”, says Ofira Eliav, the center manager.
