What does Ginger do?
Ben Moshe: 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 is a 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭-𝐮𝐩 providing an innovative solution for the sector related to 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥. Based on a digital platform, an app, allowing control and management by both employer and the employee.
Ginger is currently operating in dozens of leading high-tech companies, providing response and service for tens of thousands of employees.

With GINGER HEALTH, in addition to our digital insurance related services like digital claim process, adding family members to the insurance and online insurance portfolio examination ,we created a unique set of services “GINGER360”- Medical&insurance guidance and consultation and various health and wellness services through 24/7 call center and our app, see attached the full list of services.
How do you plan to expand in the insurance sector?
Ben Moshe: Our vision is to keep providing innovation to the traditional insurance industry and to create unique insurance solutions for Hi-Tech companies.
Since we have succeeded in providing additional value, we are already becoming a significant leader in the insurtech ecosystem and our plan in to extend our services and eventually create unique one-stop-shop model that will provide all the insurance services for our clients.
In travel insurance – What other services you provide for your clients?
Ben Moshe: In addition to our benefits, through our app the employee enjoy various services that improve his travel experience:
– Digital management and submission of travel expenses
– Online reimbursement claims- refunds up to 4 hours directly to the employee’s credit card
– On Line consultation with Israeli doctor
– Locate the nearest medical service
– 24/7 medical emergency call center
In the future activity of Health insurance, what other services will plan to provide?
Ben Moshe: We will extend the services that are included in GINGER360, especially benefits related to fitness and keep searching for more collaborations with medtech startups that will provide additional value to our product. Recently we started a process with the insurance companies of transferring some of the claims that are currently handled by the insurance company to us.
What investments were made in the company so far? Do you plan an investments round?
Ben Moshe: We have raised a total of $1.3M in funding over 1 round. This was a Seed round raised on August 2019.
Tell me about your professional background.
Ben Moshe: I have an experience of over than 20 years in senior positions such as the head of health field in Clal insurance and the VP Marketing of Clal group insurance, one of largest insurance companies in Israel.
