The new capability adds AI-supported cardiac analysis to MPCheck’s broader screening process, delivered at home, in the workplace and at designated screening locations.

MPCheck, a healthcare platform specialising in accessible medical screening, has announced the integration of AI-powered 12-lead ECG testing into its healthcare screening platform.

The technology combines a standard 12-lead ECG with artificial intelligence capable of supporting the identification of dozens of cardiac findings, including rhythm abnormalities, conduction disorders and changes in the heart’s electrical axis and waveform patterns. It may also help identify signs associated with myocardial ischemia and acute myocardial infarction, supporting faster clinical review and referral for further medical evaluation when required.

The new capability is designed to make advanced cardiac assessment more accessible as part of a broader medical screening process performed at the individual’s home, workplace or at dedicated screening locations. ECG data are securely transferred to a digital platform, where advanced algorithms analyse the recording and assist in identifying findings that may require further medical attention.

By integrating ECG data with additional clinical measurements and screening results, MPCheck can provide a broader and more connected view of an individual’s health. This creates an additional layer of medical insight and may support more informed clinical decision-making and earlier follow-up where needed.

The integration is part of MPCheck’s wider model, which brings together a broad range of medical assessments within one coordinated process, reducing the need for individuals to attend multiple clinics, laboratories and diagnostic centres.

Inbal Shaish, CEO of MPCheck, said: «“Our goal is to make advanced medical screening more accessible and easier to complete. Integrating AI-powered ECG into our platform adds meaningful cardiovascular data to a broader screening process and helps us provide a more complete view of each individual’s health, at a time and location that are convenient for them.”»

The service is expected to be incorporated into MPCheck’s existing screening programmes and offered to insurance policyholders, employers, organisations, corporate health programmes and health clubs.

The technology is intended to support, rather than replace, professional medical interpretation and clinical judgment. Any potentially significant findings are referred for appropriate medical review and further evaluation.
