The Israeli Insurtech Accelerator 5th cohort is officially open. The first day of the accelerator and opening event was held at Aon Reinsurance Israel, including an excellent workshop that the Aon team conducted.
Dozens of great startups have applied to the program, startups with amazing solutions for the insurance world in Life, Health, Cyber, P&C, and more but just 6 startups have been selected to join our unique program.
Blue Cape – provides highly accurate real-time and historical data on the risk from respiratory diseases to the L&H Insurance Industry in order to help them improve the performance of their portfolios.
InsureTax – a proprietary tax actuary and online underwriting platform is the only one which provides tax insurance for small businesses and their owners against unexpected tax audits by the IRS, addressing a massive untapped market.
umAI – is an innovative AI solution that optimizes and automates the claims management process, thus resulting in reduced loss ratio and claims processing time, while saving operational costs and standardizing claims settlement mechanics.
Predicta Med – is a healthcare technology company that provides a proprietary decision support platform for early identification and guideline-based intervention recommendation for patients with undiagnosed immune-related diseases.
Gabriel Network – Gabriel is a next-generation active threat solution that dramatically reduces the risk of an incident costing unnecessary lives and damage. By taking a preventative approach, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and easy-to-use solutions, Gabriel has been proven to save lives when seconds make all the difference in the world.
List Funding – LiST is a life science research business that utilizes large-scale medical data in order to develop machine learning predictions for underwriting longevity.
The start-ups and companies will take part in a unique 10-week customized program to introduce their organization to leading figures in the world of insurance and Insurtech. They will participate in worldwide roadshows, workshops, and sessions led by our top-notch team of partners and mentors.
The startups will have the chance to get support and mentorship from our partners Insurtech Israel, BrokerTech Ventures, Microsoft, Dell Technology, Sompo lab TLV, Deloitte, Sapiens, Milliman, MWE, Xceedance, Bolttech, Levitan, Aon and also Resource pro, AF Group, AIG, Gos, Menora mivtachim group, IAG Firemark Ventures, that joined as a new member of our partner’s team for 2023, We are wishing them the best of luck and are excited to start our collaboration.
The culmination of the fifth cohort will be the startup’s business trip to the US to Roadshow with insurance companies and investors in the US. The business trip will take place in the major insurance cities in the USA, Hartford, Stamford, New York, and Des Moines, where there will be extensive meetings with government officials, investment insurance, and more.
Nofar Silberman, Chief Operations Officer at InsurTech Israel, said: “For the fifth cohort of our accelerator program, we have selected six amazing startups that we expect will become success stories in the InsureTech ecosystem. After a very strict process, in which dozens of startups submitted their applications to participate in the program, and in collaboration with our business partners, we selected the six in whom we identified the right combination of innovative technology, passion and a strong desire to learn and develop. For the fifth cohort, ten new mentors joined our impressive team of mentors. In addition, we added the unique coaching program, in which each startup will get a coacher, a key person from the insurance and the insurtech ecosystem, who will be coaching him during the entire program personally. Starting a new cohort is always very exciting for us, each cohort is a different and new experience that brings with it a connection to new people, learning and development. I wish all the startups in the fifth cohort success, and I am very happy to be part of the process they will go through in our special program”.

Kobi Bendelak, CEO of InsurTech Israel, who leads the accelerator’s activity, notes that up to this date, our alumni startups succeed to raise more than $100 and sign over 24 significant contracts.
