Lemonade founder and CEO Daniel Schreiber, Insurech Israel CEO Kobi Bendelek and Hypo founder and CEO Asaf Wand included in the 34-strong list of influential figures
The Daily Fintech magazine has chosen three Israelis amongst its 34-strong list of the most influential figures in the world insurtech industry in 2019: Lemonade founder and CEO Daniel Schreiber, Insurech Israel CEO Kobi Bendelek and Hypo founder and CEO Asaf Wand. Insuretech is one of the fastest growing areas in the hi-tech world in general and in the fintech world in particular, especially in light of its key impact on one of the biggest business sectors – the world of insurance.
Bendelek, who serves as CEO of the Insurtech Israel investment and consultancy company, said that Israel is one of the world’s leaders in the area especially in view of the extensive use of AI technology. The Israeli industry has developed greatly thanks to the assistance of the regulator in Israel – the Capital Market Authority, which carries out many actions in order to promote the technologies in the world of insurance and improve the service and competition for the customer and the stability of the insurance companies.
Schreiber, together with his partner Shay Winiger, head the Lemonade company, which offers fully digital home insurance in the United States, and an innovative business model.
Wand heads the Hypo company, which is also engaged in home insurance in the United States. The company offers homeowners in the States life insurance within a minute, with savings estimated by the company of tens of percent.
