At-Bay expressed their gratitude to the teams, supporters, volunteers, and the CF Foundation for leading the way in the fight against cystic fibrosis, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress, and advancing advocacy and care.

Since 2011, the Atlanta insurance community has come together to form Insure the Cure and walk in Great Strides, supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Insure the Cure was formed in honor of Clay Snellings’ daughter, Emily, who was born with cystic fibrosis—a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that affects every organ in the body and makes breathing difficult. Currently, there is no cure, but they are striving to change that.

The insurance community has raised over $3 million to fuel the mission of the CF Foundation. Thanks to the steadfast support of Insure the Cure teams and supporters, the CF Foundation has led the way in the fight against cystic fibrosis, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress, as well as advancing advocacy and care. The CF Foundation has fostered the development of life-saving CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Today, the life expectancy of someone with CF has risen to age fifty-two. When Emily was born in 1997, this number was just thirty-one.
